Lucero became one of the intervenors along with EcoWaste Coalition in Criminal Case No. 14-311191 for violation of Republic Act 6969 (Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act).

“As it’s now not over until it’s over, we vow to remain vigilant till the closing garbage container is distributed out to Canada,” Lucero said, noting that the court order covers most effective 50 of the 103 transport containers full of residual and hazardous trash.
